Credit cards are becoming an increasingly popular way to donate to charity. The credit crunch has stopped credit card customers giving to charity according to new figures released by the UK Cards Association.

Last year saw a total of £639.2 million be given to charitable causes through the use of charge and credit cards, while £546.9 million was donated via debit cards.
